Agency Management

Erik Neandross, Chief Executive Officer

As one of the alternative fuel industry’s most knowledgeable, engaged, and trusted professionals, Erik has been at the forefront of some of nation’s largest alternative fuel vehicle projects–working with numerous Fortune 500 companies and public sector representatives. He has led the development of several of the nation’s most successful planned clean fuel corridors and is actively engaged in the high horsepower industry, including projects in the marine, rail, mining, and oil and gas E&P sectors. He was the visionary who launched two of the nation’s leading alternative fuel conferences – the ACT Expo and the HHP Summit. Outside of GNA, Erik contributes to a monthly column in Fleet Owner magazine, speaks at clean transportation events around the world, is on the board of the Coalition for Clean Air, Co-Chair of the City of Santa Monica Environmental Task Force, and a Director for the Zolla Family Foundation. Erik graduated Cum Laude from Colgate University.

Sarah Gallagher, Vice President, Communications & Marketing

Sarah Gallagher has more than 15 years of experience developing communications and brand strategy campaigns for both small businesses and globally-recognized brands spanning the transportation, energy, and financial sectors. She manages a team of marketing specialists and graphic designers with extensive experience developing strategic communications and outreach plans to further clean air and transportation initiatives. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Capital University and a master’s degree in communications management from the University of Southern California. In 2014, Sarah started the annual “Women in Advanced Clean Tech” summit, which showcases the accomplishments of female executives shaping the future of the transportation sector. Sarah serves on the Communications Committee for NGVAmerica, is a member of the Coalition for Clean Air, Heal the Bay, and Young Professionals in Energy, and is a volunteer for the Center for Justice and Social Compassion.

Alexis (Lexi) Wiley, Director, Communications & Media Relations

Lexi Wiley drives strategic communications campaigns for the agency’s clients and plays a key role in growing the firm to provide creative solutions for multifaceted projects. Lexi combines her dedication to improving air quality issues and advancing the clean energy industry with her passion for learning to direct and execute cutting-edge communications programs at all stages. She has 8 years of experience providing counsel on corporate positioning and media strategies in complex political and community environments within the transportation, energy, land-use, and financial services industries. She has earned her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles, and continues to stay abreast on today’s trends in marketing and communications by continuing her education through courses at UCLA Extension, General Assembly, and Lynda.com. Lexi is a member of the Nature Conservancy, the Coalition for Clean Air, and Young Professionals in Energy.

Rodger Lueras, Art Director & Creative Manager

Rodger Lueras leads the design and development of all visual aspects of a given marketing initiative to ensure the most engaging, consistent, and effective solution, including brand identity development, print and digital advertising, large scale event graphics, and websites. With over 20 years of industry experience, Rodger has delivered a diverse blend of talent and creativity while leading design projects for high-profile clients, including Mattel Inc., The Walt Disney Company, PepsiCo, and Nike.

Tim Decker, Lead Web Architect

Tim Decker conducts the creation and maintenance of all GNA Creative website projects. As a Full Stack Developer specializing in custom WordPress builds, Tim is galvanized by clean, efficient, and inspiring web production. Whether serving solutions for modest or booming companies, his ultimate goal is an administrative-friendly backend and intuitive, front-facing UI/UX. In addition, Tim places precise attention to site security and across—the-board performance and in doing so, openly embraces bleed-edge technology where suited in each new venture. He has a BA in Philosophy from Wheaton College.

Barbara Brentano, Audience Engagement Manager

Barbara Brentano collaborates with clients and stakeholders to develop and execute data-driven audience growth plans across all content distribution platforms. Barbara possesses a natural gift for engaging with clients and team members to build strong relationships. She is enthusiastic and passionate about the support of clients and stakeholders, whether it’s for live events including multi-day conferences, webinar participation, nurturing email campaigns, or marketing studies and surveys. She has lived abroad, including two years in Costa Rica where she served in the Peace Corps. She is a member of the Northeast Diesel Collaborative, the Nature Conservancy, and sits on the steering committee for the Working Harbor Committee in New York harbor.

Charlene Hayee, Marketing Data Scientist

Charlene Hayee oversees the agency’s data R&D operations and strategies. Her work directly reflects on how any data format is leveraged for marketing, CRM, and outreach efforts. She also manages implementations and integrations of new marketing tools and technologies. She has nearly a decade experience in the field of Marketing R&D and data science, ranging from providing data analytical expertise to extensive organizational change management to one of the largest energy companies in the world to now also serving as a Data Consultant for Google Inc. Charlene is a polyglot and has a bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Political Science and International Affairs from the University of California Riverside. She is always learning something new in her field and recently attended the California Institute of Technology Data Science program. She stays current with the latest innovations in the industry through GitHub and other tech-oriented communities.

Nicole (Nicki) Alcombright, Communications & Marketing Specialist

Nicki handles the execution of GNA Creative’s multi-channel marketing campaigns for events and clients, including automated email campaigns, social media strategy, webinar development, SEO-driven content creation, and partner marketing campaigns. She also provides project management for GNA’s media publication, ACT-News.com, including developing and coordinating original news content, managing webinars, building the weekly e-newsletters, and campaign reporting. She has seven years of digital marketing experience with a strong background in event marketing. Nicki obtained a BA from Loyola Marymount University and is currently working towards her MBA at Pepperdine University.

Tony Quist, Vice President, Sales & Events

Tony leads sales for GNA’s conferences and expositions, including the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo and the Natural Gas for High Horsepower (HHP) Summit. He leverages more than 20 years of experience in the tradeshow industry to design events that return maximum value to participants. He oversees all aspects of event sponsor and exhibitor relations, including sponsorship package development, contract negotiations, and exhibit hall logistics and layout. Tony plays an integral role in building GNA’s event portfolio through new event launches and expansion of existing events.

Kimberly Klonoski, Director of Events & Experiential Marketing

Kimberly Klonoski oversees the management and execution of client-hosted workshops and ribbon-cuttings, as well as GNA’s conference series—including the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, Natural Gas for High Horsepower (HHP) Summit, Rethink Methane Symposium, and Dairy Sustainability Summit. She has more than 10 years of experience in the event and hospitality industries including contract negotiation, and the management of venue, hotel, audio/visual, and catering contracts. She is a professional with extensive logistics experience impacting the visibility, reputation and profitability of events through strategic planning and tactical details. Kimberly has a bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University. She is a member of the Coalition for Clean Air and Young Professionals in Energy.

Kylie Taylor, Program Strategist

Kylie Taylor works hand-in-hand with the agenda planning committee to develop programming for several of the industry’s most prominent trade shows. She manages speaker recruitment and tracks industry trends in order to create relevant and timely sessions of interest to an end-use audience. Kylie was first drawn to the alternative energy field through her interest in waste diversion, composting, digestion, and renewable methane. She has had a lifelong passion for air quality improvement, sustainability, and the great outdoors which was cultivated during her childhood spent all over California, in regions with some of the nation’s worst air quality and most beautiful landscapes. Kylie holds a bachelors degree in environmental studies with an emphasis in human evolution and waste management from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Audrie Bieganowski, Experiential Marketing Specialist

Audrie Bieganowski helps ensure that all GNA events—in-person and online—are executed with the highest quality level. She assists in all areas of event logistics for GNA’s educational conferences and client events, including food and beverage, travel, collateral, staffing, contracts, registration, technical and audio visual production, security, room blocks, and team building. Audrie also helps manage educational webinars, including back-end logistics, registration, and outreach campaign management. She attended Grand Valley State University in Michigan where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She is a member of the Young Professionals in Energy, Los Angeles chapter.

Cliff Gladstein

Cliff Gladstein, President

Since founding GNA in 1993, Cliff has been instrumental in the development of environmental programs and policies that have improved air quality, increased the use of clean fuels and advanced technologies in transportation, and spurred the creation of innovative public-private partnerships in a variety of sectors. It is for these reasons that he has become one of the most sought after leaders within the environmental and energy communities—he offers unparalleled experience, insight, and perspective on critical issues at the very heart of our transportation and energy systems.

Sean Turner, Chief Operating Officer

Sean oversees GNA’s technical team and personally works directly on a host of engineering and advanced technology projects. He provides senior technical oversight to GNA’s clients on alternative fuel initiatives, air quality improvement, fleet planning, and vehicular technology. For more than 20 years, Sean has worked in international engineering consulting and government affairs on automotive emissions, alternative fuels, and air-quality issues.
