Client Overview:

The California Natural Gas Vehicle Partnership (CNGVP) and California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition (CNGVC) are both alliances of air quality, transportation and energy agencies, vehicle and engine manufacturers, fuel providers, transit and refuse hauler associations, and other stakeholders interested in increasing and strengthening the deployment of low-emission natural gas vehicles throughout California.

Project Overview:

Additionally, GNA works with CNGVP on ongoing outreach and education initiatives aimed at increasing market share for low-emission natural gas trucks and buses in California and beyond. As part of this effort, GNA designed, developed, and maintains CNGVP’s website (relaunched in 2017), and regularly updates it with relevant industry news, regulatory updates, resources, and events. Each month, top news articles are compiled into a responsive design email template and sent to more than 2,500 subscribers. Beyond the website and newsletter, GNA works with CNGVP to develop educational marketing collateral, educational videos, infographics, slide presentations, and case studies, as well as organize media events and educational workshops.

In April 2017, GNA organized an event for the CNGVP and CNGVC at the Port of Los Angeles aimed at demonstrating the power, performance and reliability of today’s near-zero-emission natural gas trucks, as well as the environmental and economic advantages of using readily available renewable natural gas fuel, to port drayage companies, local air district representatives, and port executives. GNA Creative managed the event logistics (venue/vendor contracts and management), program development (including speaker invitations), and audience development efforts (target outreach list development, event landing page development, email outreach campaigns, promo video development, registration). The event was successful in attracting more than more than 100 attendees, including 25 drayage fleet representatives.

In May 2018, GNA organized a media event where representatives from the California Natural Gas Vehicle Partnership, South Coast Air Quality Management District, Kenworth Trucks, Southern California Gas Company and AJR Trucking unveiled the first ultra-low emission 12-Liter heavy duty natural gas truck delivered in California. The media event, which took place at the 2018 Advanced Clean Transportation Expo, attracted more than 300 onsite attendees and received coverage in Transport Topics, Trucks.com, Hard Working Trucks, Bulk Transporter, American Trucker, Successful Dealer, Green Car Congress, among many other trade publications.
